Salt pans

The first salt pans in Trapani were built by the Phoenicians in the 5th century BC. According to the Arab geographer Edrisi, as early as the 12th century 1154 a large salt pan extended from the outskirts of Trapani to the slopes of Mount San Giuliano.

Tyche Home (named after the goddess of fortune) is strategically located for both boat trips to the islands and for visiting Trapani's historic center. Conveniently, just a few meters away is the bus stop for the cable car to Erice. The property comprises several units and types. Our studio apartment, accessible by stairs, offers a new, clean, and comfortable room. Wi-Fi, a microwave, a fridge, a coffee machine, and a kettle are also provided. The bathroom is small but functional and well-maintained. The owners' helpfulness and customer service are unparalleled. An excellent calling card for our weekend.
